Project Leaders:

It is essential that our non-visible creative teams (directors, playwrights, designers and other dramaturgical collaborators) are made up of BIPOC as they make the majority of the artistic and aesthetic decisions in our field.  Not only will increased representation allow us to more authentically and honestly share more diverse stories with our audience, we owe these opportunities to Black Pre-Emerging Artists. Moving forward the creative teams for each of our projects will be, at minimum, 50% people of color. No exceptions. We take this model of 50% from Parity Productions goals for gender equity in theater, knowing it is not only a goal we are able to achieve: but also a decision that will make the quality of our work fundamentally better.
